SA Wedding Show PE 2015

The South African Wedding Show – the country’s largest and most talked about bridal show – is getting even bigger. Now also launching in Port Elizabeth on 3 – 4 October 2015 at the Boardwalk Hotel and Spa. The SA Wedding Show has become the biggest event of it’s kind and has worked hard to develop interesting lifestyle categories that educate and inspire visitors. Every couple want their big day to stand out and be remembered and the organizers have planned a show unlike any other wedding show.

For the Groom

To ensure the groom doesn’t recall an urgent game on Super Sport and beg to be left at home, the SA Wedding Show has created the Men’s Zone – cars: from vintage to Harley Davidson, fashion, cool ideas for a bachelor party and suggestions for a honeymoon destination. Awesome prizes will also be up for grabs when voting for your favourite car.

For the Bride

Every bride wants to look her best on the big day and the SA Wedding Show will have a special Glam Up section demonstrating the latest make-up tips. Free hair trials will be on offer every hour where brides can play with different styles and receive free advice on how to look their best. A fragrance boutique will showcase the latest perfumes and a Greatest Baker event will teach visitors how to pair different flavours of cake with well known wines. And let’s not forget every girl’s biggest fantasy – her wedding dress. Exhibitors will present dresses for every conceivable wedding theme, from traditional to contemporary. Learn about choosing a silhouette, the correct fabric and colour, how it will compliment the venue and about setting a budget. Top designers will host fashion shows throughout the event at the Cape Town International Convention Centre, giving brides a firsthand experience of how they might look.

Every visitor who attends the SA Wedding Show will be given a free copy of the brand new SA Wedding Handbook.

Be entertained while you shop

On-stage entertainment throughout the SA Wedding Show will keep visitors engaged. The Silk Workshop and a hip hop showcase will offer live entertainment, while couples can relax at a Champagne bar or vote for the Photographer Of The Year from works of art on display in an art gallery – standing the chance to win fantastic prizes

Visitors to the show could come away with more than just a few great ideas. The Wedding Dress fashion show will see prizes to the value of R60,000 being given away and monthly prizes totaling R290 000 for couples getting married!

The SA Wedding Show aims to be a truly South African experience and traditional ceremonies, drumming and Indian bridal wear have all been included in this bigger and better event. In the IAfrika section you’ll find Ideas for bridesmaids, flower girls, groomsmen and the mother of the bride. Beyond the suits and dresses you’ll also find designer shoes, jewellery and plus-size collections.
