Slice Cakes is the creation of renowned wedding cake designer Gina Bugbee. From years of studying graphic design and art, Gina gained a unique ability to create cakes that stand out as culinary masterpieces. Graduating top of her class in all catergories from the prestigouse Chantecler Hotel School of Food and Wine, Gina cemented her place as one of South Africa’s leading cake makers.

With experience spanning from being the head Chef of top Sandton restaurants to running the kitchen of a prestigious Midlands guest lodge, and of course an extensive history in pastry in various patisseries around Gauteng. Gina has also worked for many years aboard in the United Kingdom learning the art of cake making.

Gina’s never ending pursuit to find and use only the finest quality ingredients is her point of difference in creating cakes that taste as good as they look.
